The battery shows our commitment to greening the grid and reaching our net zero ambitions, all while sharing the benefits of clean and reliable renewable energy with the community.

Today marks the 70th anniversary of the end of the Korean War. It's extraordinary to think how much Korea has changed in just 70 years. From a period of conflict, it's now grown into one of the most advanced economies in the world.

We honour the veterans from the Korean War for their sacrifices.

Today, I also got to celebrate the wonderful contribution Korean-Australians have made to our country.

Thanks to CASS Care and AKCEA for having me at their event today. I was there to launch the DAON College to help enable lifelong learning for Korean seniors.

It was a real joy to meet some remaining veterans from the campaign: Bruce Robertson, Ernie Walker, Reg Shard, Cecil Creswick and Les Thompson.
