From 10 December 2025, a new 'social media delay' will come into effect in Australia.

The delay is intended to prevent Australians under the age of 16 from creating or keeping an account on age-restricted social media platforms.

I want to make sure that you have all the information you need to understand how these reforms affect you and your children. So, I am hosting an online briefing with Jerome Laxale MP about the changes.

This event has now concluded, but you can find a recording of the event on this page.
