Welcoming the Babies with Metro Assist

Welcoming the Babies is now at capacity.

I’m hosting a Welcoming the Babies event to formally welcome babies and toddlers (newborn to 3 years) to our community, and to give new families an opportunity to meet other new parents, connect with important local services, and to receive a Welcoming the Babies certificate.

It is an event in partnership with Metro Assist and supported by local service providers such as Playgroup NSW, Drummoyne Community Centre, Tresillian, and others.

This free event includes:

A ceremony where each baby is presented with a certificate
Stalls and activities run by local organisations and services
Guest speakers providing valuable parenting advice, including baby first aid demonstrations
A gift bag for each family
Free barista-made coffee and morning tea
Kids activities
